Belek villa guide
Belek is a resort area in the Serik district of Antalya, known for its long sandy beaches and numerous golf courses; close to Antalya Airport, on flat terrain and with pool villas set in gardens, it suits families with young children and golf enthusiasts.
Antalya Airport (AYT) is about 30 km from Belek, roughly 30 minutes by car, which makes it easy to get to your villa quickly with children after a long journey. The beaches are long and sandy. The ancient theatre of Aspendos, the ancient city of Perge and Köprülü Canyon, known for rafting, make good day trips, and the theme park in Kadriye is popular with children. Antalya city centre and the historic Kaleiçi quarter are about 45 minutes away.
The season runs from April to early November; July and August can be very hot. Spring and autumn are the best times for golf, and with milder weather a villa holiday is also more relaxed in these months. Villas in the area are mostly detached houses with large gardens around Belek centre, Kadriye and Boğazkent.
When choosing a villa in Belek, decide whether you want to be closer to the golf courses or the beach. For larger families, multi-bedroom villas with a children's pool and listings that offer airport transfers save time. Check the Ministry of Culture and Tourism permit number on every listing; the "Permit verified" badge shows that our team has checked the document.
