Kaş villa guide
Kaş is a bohemian seaside town in the west of Antalya province, directly opposite the Greek island of Meis (Kastellorizo); with its sea-view pool villas, dive sites and lively old town, it is one of the most popular villa destinations on the Lycian coast for couples and families alike.
The nearest airport is Dalaman (DLM), about 150 km or roughly 2 hours 15 minutes by car; Antalya Airport (AYT) is around 3.5 hours away. Many villas are on the Çukurbağ peninsula west of town, where waterfront houses or homes just a few minutes from the sea, facing the sunset, are common. Besides the small pebble beaches and beach clubs in town, Kaputaş Beach on the Kaş–Kalkan road is the best-known swimming spot.
Thanks to its clear water, Kaş is one of Türkiye's leading diving centres. The ancient theatre, Lycian rock tombs, the sunken city of Kekova (reached by boat) and the island of Meis, a short ferry ride away, are the main sights. The swimming season runs from May to October; spring and autumn are ideal for hiking and diving.
When choosing a villa in Kaş, decide on your priority: Çukurbağ offers sea access and views, while villas closer to the centre let you walk into town in the evening. If you are looking for privacy, look for the "secluded pool" tag, and check the Ministry of Culture and Tourism permit number on every listing.
