Göcek villa guide
Göcek is a small marina town in the Fethiye district and one of the closest resorts to Dalaman Airport; with its island-studded bays, marinas and relaxed atmosphere, it suits travellers who want to combine a villa holiday with boat trips and are looking for a setting that is luxurious yet peaceful.
Dalaman Airport (DLM) is about 25 km from Göcek, roughly 20–25 minutes by car, which makes even a short break practical. The islands and coves of the Gulf of Göcek are among Türkiye's best-known sailing and gulet routes; hire a boat for the day to swim at spots such as Bedri Rahmi Bay, the Yassıca Islands and Tersane Island. The town centre has restaurants and cafés along the marina and a small public beach.
Beaches in Göcek are small and mostly pebbly; the real connection with the sea happens in coves reached by boat or in the villas' private pools. The season runs from May to October, and because the gulf is sheltered, the sea is usually calm. Fethiye is about 30 minutes by car and Dalyan about 45 minutes.
When choosing a villa in Göcek, decide whether you want to be within walking distance of the marina or prefer a quieter spot in the pine forest. If you are planning boat trips, check the listing page for services such as transfers and a private chef; every villa's Ministry of Culture and Tourism permit number is shown on its listing.
